Loose Joints

Loose Joints Music Club is back with some of our friends for a very special Christmas party.

We are honoured once again to have a very special guest joining us the Golden, The Bomb, Wonk, Down To The Sea And Back, Excellent Behaviour, 1BTN legend that is...

Kelvin Andrews

We know what he has in his arsenal and the excellent quality he brought along to his previous visit to Loose Joints back in Spring 2024. So are thrilled to bits to see what he decides to treat us to during throughout the event having a wide spectrum to consider will really allow his vast knowledge to shine through.

His track record speaks for itself I used to pick up his Soul Mekanik releases what nearly 25 years ago before that his Sure is Pure remixes in the 90’s are forgotten classics, a key figure at Golden in Stoke and the Bomb in Nottingham people still enthuse about them to me to this day and the man behind the Wonk events/lifestyle. Don’t forget his sets at Electric Elephant and Love International festivals over in Croatia if you were lucky enough to catch them. In more recent times he has teamed up with another fave Balearic Mike with the ‘Down To The Sea And Back’ compilations and events and now polishing the Excellent Behaviour show and parties as well as his own 1BTN radioshow.

We always promise some of the best selectors with well over 100 years of DJ and well over 150 years record buying experience (or affliction) digging out and spinning the best music available to them at this point in time both old and new.

We've always had the same purpose right from the very beginning: supporting local talent and beyond to play the music they love, whether decades old or brand, spanking new, in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment. Our ethos is simple: coming together to hear great music, with a bunch of other music friends.

Wherever we've hosted events, we've established happy spaces to forge new friendships. We can guarantee those of you joining us will have a great time hearing some amazing music spanning the decades in some excellent company.

Joining the residents we have a very special guest with a fine eclectic taste and wide collection of quality music and we have no doubt they'll once again be up to the challenge of digging a little deeper to bring the vibes and a few surprises to what promises to be another special Loose Joints party.

We can't wait to hear what they uncover and are bringing down to play!

The legendary music club continues with a similar format to previous parties, local selectors encouragingly brought together as a family, as together we are always stronger! With a friendly and knowledgable crowd. Early start til late to accommodate all, spanning the very best music available from Funk World Dub Jazz House Techno Soul Disco Electro Acid House Electronica.

Loose Joints

Loose Joints Music Club is back with some of our old friends. We have a very special guest joining us local Mello Mello, Crash FM and 3Beat legend:

Robin Jackson

A firm fixture of the underground music scene since the 80's, building a reputation for crafted and eclectic DJ sets that reflect his deep musical roots of Disco, Funk, Reggae, Dub and Hip Hop alongside a House music collection from 86 onwards.

From Liverpool's Cream, Quadrant Park and 051 Club to MellolleM, Café del Mar and Pacha in Ibiza, his journey has taken him across clubs, beaches and festivals throughout Europe including a residency at Nomaden in Oslo.

Alongside his DJ career, Robin spent much of the '90s at 3Beat Record in Liverpool, helping to shape the tastes of a generation of dancers and DJ's.

At that time he also hosted a show on Crash FM, blending specialist House mixes with live sessions and interviews from the likes of Kool Herc DJ Harvey, Basement Jaxx, Johnny Marr and many others.

Four decades in, Robin continues to produce, edit and DJ.

We always promise some of the best local selectors with well over 100 years of DJ and well over 150 years record buying experience (or affliction) digging out and spinning the best music available to them at this point in time both old and new.

We've always had the same purpose right from the very beginning: supporting local talent and beyond to play the music they love, whether decades old or brand, spanking new, in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment.
