Dance for Plants and Melodies of Love are setting sail together for a stunner of a summer balearic sizzler!
In honour of Melodies of Love 003, which sees Sparky combine with Berlin Italo edits aficionado Captain' Ahoy, we're bringing the don all the way from the German capital to our little corner of sunshine. Known for his cheeky nautical compilations and home-cooked edits of both leftfield bouncers and well-known classics, we're absolutely thrilled to be giving Captain' Ahoy his first gig in the city!
We'll be starting nice and early while the sun is still out, gradually building up a head of steam before chugging off into the sunset, riding waves of tacky, funky, shimmery goodness.
DFP residents Sam and Scott will be playing warm up for this one, joined also by Melodies of Love head honcho Sparky, whose name is known across Merseyside as someone with a treasure trove of obscure records.
This is one is set to be one of our most fun gigs yet, and the quality in the music is set to match it - don't sleep on this one!
