Loose Joints, Celebrating 21 Years

It will be exactly 21 years to the day since we held our first Loose Joints party!

We've always had the same purpose right from the very beginning: supporting local talent and beyond to play the music they love, whether decades old or brand, spanking new, in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment. Our ethos is simple: coming together to hear great music, with a bunch of other music f(r)iends.

Wherever we've hosted events, we've established happy spaces to forge new friendships. Aaron and Clare virtually met on the Loose Joints dancefloor, and the first dance at their wedding was to a tune that made the earth stop spinning when they first heard it dropped at Loose Joints. We can’t guarantee to repeat that for those of you joining us, but we can definitely promise you'll have a great time hearing amazing music in excellent company. We're looking forward to introducing our special DJ lineup over the coming days, so keep a look out.

We'll be returning to celebrate at Commune in the Fabric District on Saturday 24th May, from 3 pm onwards. In the current economic climate, we'd encourage buying a ticket. That helps a small, independent venue like Commune organise stock and staffing for the night, which keeps the drinks flowing. It also allows us to apply for a late licence, meaning you get to pay less to party for longer.

Come join us... 🙂✨️
